VOLTRON here bringing you ALTERED STATES, a movie about a scientist using hallucinatory drug and an isolation chamber as part of an experiment gets more then he bargains for when it brings out his wild side which isn't too good for everyone else on campus.

Considering the time period I think the effects are amazing, the story works and the characters are interesting. This is one of John Hurt's best if you ask me. Forget all those fancy pants dramas, you want to see William Hurt at this best then check out ALTERED STATES.
